   Happy Friday!

Students that are isolating at home are expected to complete the work posted in D2L. If they don't, they will fall behind and it will be difficult to get caught up.

What can be done at home to improve French language skills: 

• 15 to 30 minutes of reading in FLA.
• Listens to one (or more) show in French each week: Flip TFO , Tout.TV zone jeunesse , Télé-Québec zone jeunesse

Reading suggestions: 

• Les libraires

Week at a glance

Students are still working on creating their own podcast.  Instructions and due dates are in D2L. At this point, everyone should have their research done and their script done or mostly done as well.  Whoever is ready to start their podcast at school, will have a chance to do it next week and after March Break,

Evaluation:

• Balado: Due dates are during the week of April 5th (Podcast #1) and the week of  May 10th (Podcast #2)

School Library: The library is open! This year, students will be able to borrow books from the library by ordering their books online, thanks to Mrs. Fitz! There will be no class time to order books; students should do this at home. Here is the link to order your library books: Library request form

Semaine de la Francophonie (Francophonie Week)

• Next week, there will be activities to highlight the French language and culture.  Something that students can do is visit this website Journal des Rendez-vous de la Francophonie to learn more about the Acadian French culture and do some activities.
