 Happy Friday!

**It is strongly advised that students have a French/English dictionary.

Here is a summary of what we did this week.  Handouts, answer keys, notes and assignments given during the week are posted on D2L every Friday.

This week, students took notes about the present tense of the second group of verbs (-ir that makes ''issait" in the ''imparfait'') and continued writing a short descriptive text about themselves.  They also had a listening assignment (Les pieds dans la marge).

There will be a quiz about the present tense of the first group of verbs (-er) Tuesday (September 29th).  Student should know how to conjugate the following verbs in the present tense : avoir, ĂȘtre, aller and appeler.

After the MADD presentation they had last Wednesday, students had the chance to complete a survey and have the chance to win some prizes.  For those who were not able to complete it at school, here is the link : https://maddyouth.ca/survey/2020-2021-post-presentation-survey/

Enjoy your weekend!

Here is a summary of what we did this week.  Handouts, notes and assignments given during the week are posted on D2L every Friday.

This week, students did one last diagnostic evaluation about rules of grammar.  They worked on the present tense of the first group of verbs (-er) and started writing a short descriptive text about themselves..  Some students presented their two statements (one false, one true) and the others, after a few questions, had to figure out which one was false.

Happy Friday!

This week we did two diagnostic evaluations, a short text, and reading comprehension.

Each Friday, I would like to do speaking or listening activities.  Be aware that I may ask students to be prepared in advance.

For next Friday, I would like students to prepare one truth, and one lie about themselves.  We will be doing this activity for several Fridays until everyone has told their statements.  More details about this activity on D2L.

**I want to also remind you that it is strongly advised that students have their own dictionaries (French, French/English) and Bescherelle.  Those resources will be useful for future years in the French immersion program.**

Welcome to FLA 7-3

I want to welcome you to the 5-2 blog.

In here, you will read a summary of what was done during the week and give a few reminders for the coming week.

This week's purpose was to greet the students and do some community building activities.  Next week, students will do assignments that will give me, as a teacher, an idea of where they are at right now academically.

* Students should have at least an English/French dictionary, and I strongly suggest they also have a French one too.

Have a nice weekend, and see you on Tuesday!
